PLOT: The story follows Ken Kaneki, a college student who meets a woman named Rize Kamishiro at Anteiku, a coffee shop. They share an interest in literature and plan a date. While walking Rize home, Ken is attacked by her. Rize reveals that she is a ghoul, a human-like creature that hunts and devours human flesh. As she is about to finish him off, she is crushed by a falling platform. Kaneki is taken to the hospital in critical condition. The doctor decides to transplant Rize's organs into Ken. He then must deal with life as a half-human/half-ghoul, including interacting with ghoul society and its conflicting factions, while striving to keep his identity secret from other humans.
In my opinion, the manga most interesting part is the mental of Ken , at the first part of the story, he is just a normal University student, but some certain event happened, he become an one eyed ghoul. When he become an one eye-d ghoul. When he become ghoul, he is struggling with his greed of hunger, because he can't eat normal man kind food at all, he only can eat human flesh to survive. That's why when he become a ghoul , he struggling with his greed of hunger.
In the middle part of the story, he is having abuse by Ghoul Yamori( lizard/ Jack) , Kaneki's hair turns white and his nails turn the color black as the result of heavy mental stress and forced regeneration, and he become cold blooded because of this reason.
At the last part of the story, he lose to a human, Kishou Arima, the strongest fighter of CCG(Commission of Counter Ghoul) known as the "Reaper". At here Im felt disappointment on the ending , due to Im not gonna to do spoiler , so I should stop here. The manga is very nice to me, but the anime I not so suggest to watch because some scene has been doing a rush, but still is a nice anime, hope you guys like this manga and anime as well ^.^ .
